Aghanistan War another Vietnam

You’d think we’d have learned. You’d think our government, before deciding to send yet more troops to Afghanistan, which they have done, would realize that we are fighting a war that is not ours. But that’s what America has always loved to do, stick its nose in where it’s  not wanted.

At first, after Osama Bin Laden bombed the World Trade Center, hunting him down in Afghanistan and blowing his ass away was what we needed to do. However, we have not found Bin Laden and instead of helping fight the cause of terrorism we have created activity for even more terrorists to come to battle, financed by Al Queda.

What you will learn is basically that we are doing more harm than good by continuing to send our troops to fight this civil war. Just as we did in Vietnam. I hate to think that we learned nothing from the Vietnam experience. But it looks to be the case. All I can see in the future is regret that we didn’t leave Afghanistan’s war for them to fight on their own, or simply concentrated our efforts on finding Osama Bin Laden, rather than doing what we always do, try to be Superman America and change the world at the cost of American lives. These lives are being lost daily for a cause that is not our own.
